Guys can you tell us a bit more about your CHAMPIONSHIP winning car?
Weight? What was involved in conversion? Any idea on costs?

Glad to Chuck. The car has a b16a in it with a microtech lt8s, 2.5 inch exhaust, Hasport mounts, VL turbo pump, braided fuel lines and runs on 14 inch BFG drag radials. The car currently has standard suspension. :o

The car weighs in at around 1815 pounds (825kgs) without the passenger or rear seats, and 5 litres of fuel.

To build the exactly the same same car it would probably cost around 6-7 grand not including labour or the car itself.

My brother won the All Motor Bracket in the ANDRA Sport Compact Championship Series. On another note he was equal second in the overall points table after George Rahayem. For full results go to http://dragster.com.au/modules/news/article.php?storyid=981

A nice 'cheap' race car indeed. Well done.

I have one sitting here with a B18 to go in for a daily.

Yes, I guess once you own a 3G you have a soft spot for them :) they can take a thrashing!

sounds like a great little car!
