Disclaimer: The following is provided as a GUIDE ONLY, and neither myself nor Ozhonda take any responsibility for the outcomes of someone else doing the following. You follow these steps at your own risk!

Aim: the objective of this activity is to rebirth any used or unwanted airfreshner. a good analogy is doing B18C conversion to a non VTAK hondas. so let us begin the fun.

Required: - any used/unwanted air freshner.
- any refill of u choice

Steps:

for this write up. i ll based upon my long gone ambi pur air freshner.
reson for this is. mine ran out for a while, and replacement is abt $5 each. i just dun think thats teh rite price. :thumbdwn: so here we go.

1. ami pur byebye = no good.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y7/nt_889/31052006071.jpg

so here it is air freshner i got from coles. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y7/nt_889/31052006076.jpg
around 2 bucks. and smells pretty nice too. so total price for this project would be $2.

2. now get all material ready.

take the cover off.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y7/nt_889/31052006073.jpg

and the cotton bud bit.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y7/nt_889/31052006074.jpg

for mine there is another cover u can take off as shown.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y7/nt_889/31052006075.jpg

3. now this is my refill.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y7/nt_889/31052006077.jpg

BECAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not to spill.
slowly bit by bit pour it into the ambi pur container.
and this is wat u ll have.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y7/nt_889/31052006079.jpg

and the result. WHAO..... PURE SEX YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y7/nt_889/31052006080.jpg

nice man, but just one recommendation, u can use "macro" mode on your digital camera to get focus on these pictures. Its usually the icon with the "flower" in it. give that a try :)

If you put the 2nd air freshener in the path of your intake, it should boost the combustion to give more power too. :D

LOL.... great write up.

Me? I use the ambi-pur ones too... except I wait until they're on sale at Repco. Every now and then they do a sale and all refills are like $3-4 each.

I think he should make a tissue box refill guide too... I'm too cheap to buy new boxes of tissues but I noticed they give away free tissues at Hungry Jacks and McDonalds.

I think he should make a tissue box refill guide too... I'm too cheap to buy new boxes of tissues but I noticed they give away free tissues at Hungry Jacks and McDonalds.

Easy:

Just take the metal serviette dispenser from the store, and if some pimply-faced 15yr old twat comes chasing after you, just tell him/her/it that you are borrowing it to mop up a spill to save them extra work when closing the store...Then just strap it into your rear passenger seat, and voila, a new tissue box for the car!

And when it runs out, chuck that one away, go into another maccas/hungry's/kfc/whatever store and do it again.

Cheap, easy refills. Just make sure you take the one with the most serviettes in it. You get better value for money that way.

Hey hey ---Instead of being an expensive person like |N| why not go and get the sample perfumes and/or colognes (expensive stuff) that doesnt cost a thing.
if you have an empty ambi purrr add the fragrance in and put everything back in...
Now that is a DIY that smells good and cheap ^^

|N|
23-07-2006, 03:47 PM
a cheaper way is to just pour some shampoo into it... nice and cheap .. smells good still

I poured some cologne into mine (following shane's guide). Sorry nick he was first. I don't think any one will sell refils appart from ambi pur that will fit in there so you use the old bottle and refil it with whatever.

But i was thinking, is there a way to bore out the bottle to a larger capacity to increase the performance??? Anyone know/tried it :p

like puttin a 600ml coke bottle?

Interesting idea. I was thinking along the lines of a 2L one, but that would be larger capacity than my engine (1.6l). But if i did have a 1.6l engine and a 2l bottle full of perfume, could i claim i have a 3.6L car

|N|
01-08-2006, 12:05 PM
i reckon its better to run 2x600ml..... similar to rotary.... so its rotary vtec yooo...

but yea i think its not hard... just need to connect a hose .. and hide the bottles in the cabin....

if u get around to do it.. post up some pics...

i dun thinnk its even been done... u could be the first on this planet
