Im just getting ready to start the install on my DC2 VtiR and im just wonder wat ppl think bout which cables are best. Im leaning towords the Stinger or Rockford range, does anyone have any good/bad thoughts on these cables? Or know of any other brands worth alook at. Im talking bout power n earth cables, Fuses and fuse holders and RCA's too.

Thanks in advance!

How much power are you looking at running? if less than say 50RMS dont bother. I have some cheapy stingers but not O2Free copper ones.

Other brands to look at:
Streetwires
Phoenix Gold
Audison

They are all good brand, and I don't think you can go wrong with them (including the ones you mentioned).

Also, make sure you use big enough wires otherwise your sound quality will be compromised.

got Stinger in mine too..would help in the long run if you used reputable cable brand in ur installation. So...go with anything you can get your hands on that are reputable...not Jaycar tho...

I run all jaycar wiring and distro blocks in my setup. Same with the RCA's. Can't tell a difference between that and when i did my first install with stinger cabling.

Stinger, Lightning, Streetwires, Phoenix Gold, Tsunami, Audison etc are all quality cables.

Stinger have the largest range in AU, that is why we use them. :)

power and earth cables i use BOC gases welding cable, ring terminals from Jaycar and Aerpro battery terminals. I have a Stinger fuse holder and fuse, and Stinger RCA's. Works pretty well :)
