Agreed, the turnover rate of "noob" threads in the tech forums is just unbelievable sometimes!!
Its like the whole concept of searching has been thrown out the window!

It constantly amazes me sometimes how many people who have a tendancy to flame "noobs" have a poor knowledge of their cars and modifications. I do know of one person who is constantly having a go at people for asking stupid questions....and he himself is facing the very dire task of pulling his motor apart again because he ****ed up. Sometimes its better and nicer just to share your knowledge with others.

:D

Yes, but certain things that the person may not know could be only a 'level' up on them or its a very simple question, those that fall under that category should be kept in the Noob not the Technical or Specific Model sections, also all Model sections have stickies which have all general qs regarding that model solved and other common things about them.

I know the search button is there, but from a noob's perspective... sometimes you feel the need to ask purely because you wanna make sure that the reply matches your scenario exactly (duh because you asked the question). At least that's how I feel sometimes.

True. And that is why the noob forum is there :)
