I've just bought an '90 GL civic and wanted to put a new exhaust on.
will this fit?

inlet size is 2.5" / 63.5mm
barrel size is 152mm / 6" Dia
tip size is 290mm L 101.6mm / 4"

Will it be too loud and will i lose any power?
thanks

uuummmm i belive he's talking about a muffler... you generally dont use the term "inlet" on a full cat back system. It'll be fair loud and if it just a muff and not cat back i doubt there would be any power loss.

Dude can you please confirm or denie that this is a Muffler and not Cat back system... if your talking system your right... if your talking muff then its fine.

hahaha nah its fine dude... they were talking about catbacks... I think they missed the "inlet" as you dont refer to a catbacks size as an inlet.

2.5inlet on a muff is fine... it shouldn't affect your power. I'm not to sure whether you'll see + or - effects. if there is anything you wont notice it. But yeah cannon muffs tend to be loud so thats really the only thing you'll have to worry about if anything.

People should read the whole post :P it was pretty clear you were talking about a muff.

Cummon dude....its not THAT obvious - when someone sais "exhaust" we assume exhaust - not a muffler. Inlet could be reffering to the piping size? or fitting for the cat....

Spose it was pretty ambigous.

he's talking inlet of the muffler for sure. Get the Xforce titanium muffler. Mine is 2.5" inlet, 4" tip. It comes with silencer, $350(incl. GST), sounds so good. So if u ever get caught by police, just put on the silencer

for a GL (carby) effort, I'd reccomend you get a 2" cat-back..
doesnt really matter what Diameter the Muffler is.. the exhaust shop will just step-up the piping to fit.

civic CXi - do YOU have the X-Force Ti muffler fitted ?
I've seen one at Speedtwerps and man it was soooo light, but I think it may sound crappy as it's construction wasnt too flash..
