ED seats compatible in EF?

hey guys, wanting to know if ED seats will fit on EF rails or if ED seat rails will fit on EF floor plan.

need to know asap.

i know what your saying, but the EF civic has an uneven floor plan.

i would try it but i dont have ED seats, hoping to get my question answered before i have to go and get a pair.

don't really need to get decent seats, car is written off need to get my buckets out of my car and put any cheap ass seats in. hence the idea of ED seats.

I know the seats are interchangeable but not sure if the rails are...

ie: ED seats can be bolted to EF rails, EF Seats bolted to ED rails... Prob easier to use the factory rails so you can avoid any major engineering hassles

You sure you have an EF? I thought all the 'EF' model civics where actually ed's. Check your chassis code Mines an ED3 and its a 1990 sedan.

EF is Jap imported civic
ED is the Australian delivered civic

hence yours is a ED not a EF

its an import it's a genuine EF civic
not a Aus spec ED

You do know that ED and EFs are the same car right?

Only the EF9 SiR is different and that's from the firewall forward. The cabin floorplan is exactly the same.
