tailgate

ive searched the forum lookin for this but i dont know y my tailgate light at the driver seat is always on. it keeps telling me that my tailgate is opened wen its not, does any 1 know y? or had/have the same problem?
its a 01 model CRV

ahaha dont worry i aint too good with cars either,
um the tail gate for my crv is the glass part (rear windscreen seperate from teh actual door) well its if i dont close the tailgate tight enough it tells me from the driver seat that its not closed but ive closed it and it still says its not closed?

oh right so its lyk a thing that if its not shut properly it shows that ur boot is open

ahaha thats the tailgate light im talking about its always on.

Sounds like the latch is malfunctioning. Make sure there is nothing in the insert that is blocking the hook for the rear windshield.

do you think it might be one of the fuses or wires?

could be the switch? like the ones for your door.
