Normally the difference between red and black is the red is from a Type R and black from a VTI-R

But always check the engine number....

black block = non type R engine
red block = type R engine

although you can put a red cover on the "black block", just to make it look pretty

Mines a Black.

I know its a N00b question, but ive never had or driving a honda before, i had a Toyota Seca 4agze before this car, so i dont know much about honda engines.

Is there anywere were i can look up both things and read about them?

or some people call it cam covers, since it covers the cams.
rocker cover was back in the day, where it was the rocker arms it was covering.
