Hi Guys, I need help for a wheel offset question, what is the best offset for aftermarket wheels size 19/20 inch 8,5 x 9,5 combination? is 38mm offset ok or not?
Or if anyone could tell me the best offset for the accord?

Thank you

Just to confirm, is your "New Accord" the Euro?

If it is, then do a search for "offset" in the Accord forum.

New Accord not Euro, but aren't they take same offset?

I haven't looked into the Accord's offset before. But the Euro's offset is +55 for the 17" rims (I think 7" wide). So you can use those offset calculators to calculate the proper offset for 19 and 20x8.5 or 9 rims.

Look at the spare in the boot. It will say on the inside the offset eg ET+55.
Report back here with what you see and what model you have. There are a lot of accords now so which one do you have and what year?

Hi ya all, the stock wheels are 16x 6,5 ET 55mm. I have used the offset calculator before but i don't understand it.

The car is 2005 New Accord 2.4 i-vtec.

ok so it is the same as the Euro. Personally I wouldn't go wider than 7.5 or 8 inch wide and lower than +42 offset. Look at the Euro threads on offsets - you will see why most people do not go with 8.5 inch or 9.5 inch rims on this car. If you are building a show car it is possible but otherwise go with something that fits nicely. If in doubt - consult a good tyre shop. I found Tyre Factory to be quite good for advice on sizes when I was shopping 2 years ago.
