is it possible to fit 8" wide rims to a civic and what width tyres would fit
currently i got 17*7 wheels with 205/40/17 tyres

i had 7.5s i spose 8s would fit if your offset was big enough.

they would definatly rub on the front though... if you have an EG that is.

why would you want such wide rims?

i have 15x7 very old school enkei rp01s.....in 15x7 dimensions .
With 195 or 205 rubber - and not-too-severe lowerering - the car rides very nice indeed.
But on anything larger than 15inch x 7 inch would think definite rubbing and reducing turing etc.

i've seen sikcvc while i was driving home from work before, would i be able to see how your 7.5 wheels fit on your car?

the reason for the wider wheels is that some wheels don't come in 7" and the slimest is 8"

yeh 7.5 is the widest you can go on a civic. thats wot ive got at the moment.

what offset would be appropriate for 7.5" wide wheels?
i think the current offset of my wheels are +45
