the SI came with the d16a8 dohc nonvtec engine, yes you are right..
although i don't think they came in 91..

i believe it came out 92/93, then the vti replaced it in 94/95

Si's were offered in Japan and came out in the EF chassis as i believe, and as everyone has stated so far, they came in DOHC non vtec although the SiR's came in DOHC vtec 1.6L. although we in Australia only recieved the Gl version twin carby SOHC non vtec model 1.5L.

yeah just making sure, it seem kind of hard finding cheap aftermarket parts for turbo charging these engines, well for me anyway. with this d16 dohc block, is it same as the d16 sohc block (for manifold purposes). im sorry if this subject has been covered once before.

of course its gonna be hard to find cheap turbo parts for a non turbo engine lol.
the block has nothing to do with the manifolds. its the head which matters.
while the bolt pattern is the same on the exhaust manifold as with other D's the actual ports are slightly different in shape, however some port matching can solve this.
