EG HONDA CIVIC SEDAN COUPE????????

I was wondering if you could help me with this but you know how in america the eg's came in a 2 door sedan are there any in australia and what engine did they have? what are the chances of getting one here. i rather like them over the four doors. but i don't really like ek coupes so thats why i'm curious bout the eg ones

US engines a very watered down from what i understand, but yes the coupes do look the goods ;)

i am not sure but i think they come standard with d16s

and the chances of getting them here..

very slim in NSW ...i've never seen 1 in flesh..

but memeber form victoria say they have seen them around...

haven't seen them over here, don't know if you will be able to get them unfortunately. Under the 15 year rule i doubt you could import one ... and by the time you import one i doubt it will be worth paying what you paid to import it ... depends

I live in melbourne and I've seens a few... VERY SEXY.

I know theres one in the springvale... spingvale south area. Its black owned by a middle aged mum. Her kids used to go to my g/fs school, camoora.

I'm not 100% sure but I belive that the car lives off Olympic av. If you see them maybe you could make an offer since the car is so damn rare.

I see the car driving nearly everytime i visit my g/f so I image all you'd need to do is spend a little time around there before you see it. But i spose thats kinda stalking :P

I'd find out about importing them first... then after that you can just ring the main honda dealers as NZ dosnt produce cars, all the cars are imports. So if you find out you can import them and get it complianced yada yada then just ring any dealership... i saw the teg at Toupo honda.

they dont sell the coupes at all in NZ they only get hatches n 4 doors. least thats all i could find when i was looking (CTR's are only 19 grand tho :D )

I dunno if cut and shuts are legal in Qld but if they are and you REALLY want one... you could look into cut and shutting a 4 door... it can be done but it'd probs be costly. be at least 10K i'd say... but if you found a sedan for 5 that would be worth it.

i've only seen maybe 2 eg coupes in victoria. one when i was out and about, the other is owned by my gf's bro-in-law's friend. the bastard riced it up though... :( really really bad rice...i'm talking supra style rear wing and ugly rims rice...and others...i think the dude lives around beach rd....

I went looking for them in NZ (every paper and online site) could not find any. Most likely a private import or an importer importing them from the states. Must not have been was NZ delivered (sold by Honda NZ) or maybe they are just ultra rare like in Australia. I have never seen one for sale in NZ and I looked for 3 months.

I've seen one out Castle Hill way in RHD config so they cant just be US.

The original F&F Civic, it came with the SOHC D16 I understand.
