Hi,

Have a 95 EG8 Civic Sedan with a B16A swap.

Has been running perfectly for about 8 months and recently started to idle funny.

When starting to warm up it will hunt rapidly from 1000 to 1500rpm up and down and eventually die back to normal idle once up to temp.

ECU is throwing a TA code. TA tests ok.

Has anyone ever had this problem.

I have swapped out Coil, Igniter, all 3 triggers, Water Temp Sender, EACV and ECU.

Any help would be great.

Have u tested the wiring between the IAT & the ECU?
Maybe a bodgy connection has finally reared its ugly head?
Check for loose pin connections at the shock tower,or bad solder joints.
What test results did u get off the IAT? I'd assume the voltage was good if u used 2 diff ECU's.
Check the wiring on the IACV as well while your at it.

Tried putting a new IACV on and no better. Also i have tested all wiring end to end with no problems.

Air temp sensor tests as per service manual specs, has the 5v when there when not plugged in.
