Yeah apparently the Fit has a good chassis for a sports car. added to that a 7 speed auto with paddles its awesome
The only problem is that the engine is abit of an underperformer.

I like the Jazz, Fit. From the vtec club dvd, they said the fit's chassis is made from double layer of sheet metal to boost the strength just like how it's done in sports car chassis. So it already has the base. All it needs now is all motor mod for the L15 and good coilovers.

I wonder how much power could a L15A make
It is a very nice car though, was thinking to get one before, well may get one next year

You couldn't install A/C on the jazz after you put K20 on right?

im suprised no one has really flamed this thread or start sh!t like they usually do lol

im not sure about a/c after the k20. who needs a/c when you have a k20 in your car, just wind down the windows and hit vtec y0 lol

jazz chasis is a bit weak for k20

i was told that the k20 jazz in malaysia is starting to fall apart

I don't think they spot welded the chassis. If I were to do a K20a jazz, I would spot weld, put in reinforcement bars as well as fill the chassis with urethane.

i think jazz is a cheapest Honda available and eventhough the shape is not as sleek as the civic .. you still can make it to looks good by adding bodykit, wheels etc :) .. i love my jazz ..

I reckon a stock Jazz VTi looks better than the Civic VTi.

Leave the jazz / fit owners alone. Each to their own. Of course it's not the "ultimate" sports car, can't really consider it a sports car at all, but they sure can be modified very nicely. And spoon fit, speaks for itself.

I have a VTiR Prelude with Tanabe Sustec Pro SS "coilovers" and a few other bits and peices. I must say that everytime I hop into the Wife's Jazz for a steer, it never ceases to amaze me with its handling. The thing cocks its inside rear wheel in the air, does the whole liftoff oversteer thing. And with 205/45R16 rubber it REALLY hangs on. And after fitting the Spoon springs, the thing is like a go kart. The chassis feels very stiff with very little body flex. My only complaint is that it still feels tall to drive after getting out of the lude. It just needs another 20kw to put it into the Hot Hatch league. But we love our Jazz just the same, the L15A is so tractable and we have never felt wanting for power or torque, even fully loaded. And it is so damn practical.

i reckon with bolt-ons you could expect 20kw gain on the jazz at the most depending what you do, the intake and exhaust are restrictive as hell and replacing these two already can give 12kw
