accord 95 antena and power windows

i have 2 question 1st is that when my antena is about to finish going up or down it makes a clicking sound then stops, and it doesnt go down all the way it still stays up about 5cm.

and second question is my power windows go slower than other honda accords has anyone else got this problem? how do i fix it?

The antena is extremely common - mine has done it for 3 years. You can spray it, it helps for about 5 mins, most likely you have a slight bend in it. Good luck!:p

For the windows - keep them lubricated! Mine were slow before but I've never had a problem since. I use siliconspray.

Hey raz just went and got some silicone lube spray i put some on and i can see a slight change. how much did u apply?

Just give it a chance to lubricate the runners - they were probably really dry. I usually give it a coupe blasts and run them up and down a few times.

spray down where razaman says.

also on the other side as well. I go around the entire window seal.

you antenna need cleaning. or it has a bend or defect in it and is causing the problem.

try cleaning the antenna.

i got it from bunnings here in adelaide just a normal home depo store

i have the same problem with my windows...it goes up and down very slow......im still not sure if it is the window seal of the eletric window motor???

also on rainy days when the window is dry.....it gets stuck half way....

need help wah is the problem the seal or the motor???

its def not the motor because the same thing happens on my 94 accord... use the spray and spray it into the gap where your window goes up or down, that should fix the problem. In regards to your antenna, it is a known problems for alot of cd5 accords.. cant really fix it unless u take out and replace a new antenna but then that would be a waste of money...
