I was just wondering If a 1.8L integra motor would fit in an ED without too much hassle?
Its a runaround car that i intend to have for a very long time, but as its getting older, more K's and stuff, i want to change the motor, to something alot quicker but still relatively fuel efficiant...
its auto and i want it to remain auto as i drive in peak hour traffic everyday...
has anyone done, or know of it being done b4?
and if anyone has an auto 1.6 or 1.8L injected motor plz let me know :)
thanks
Christian

if its an every day driver, u mite as well just spend ur money on an eg .
swapping an engine around is gonna cost you more than its worth

is it fuel injected (current engin)
if it is, then just put in a 1.6 SOHC (if you want vtec then go for it)
if its dual carby then you have to convert it to efi
fuel rails etc ... hope this helps ...

thanks Ben, great info there!
yehh its carby now haha i know i gotta convert it... i could sell it and buy an EG but the bloody motor and gearbox are gona go anytime soon, and i intend to own this car for a very long time so its not really a waist of money...
i could just put a sohc 1.6L motor in but while im at it i might aswell go that bit further and but a teggie motor for extra power...
anyone know roughly how much for one of these motors?
