1st run was a 13.3 @107mph with a 2.3 60' footer (shit) crunched 4th :(

2nd run i got a 14.0 (lmao)at 106mph coz i couldnt get it in 3rd gear after crunching 3rd 3 times :( this time with a 2.2 60' footer

3rd run ended up with a 13.4 @ a massive 111mph but my 60' was a 2.380 (very shit) even with the semi slicks it wheel spun first and all of 2nd gear.

i know this car can get into the 12s with better launch very easy

i had a good nite and seen some other ozhonda boys out there aswell.

sounds good omar !

try not launching? just drive off?

so instead of wheel spinning 1st & 2nd, you start off 1st abit slower than if you were launching than gain momentum and 2nd might pull harder due to the fact you have grip from mometum from 1st gear ?

i duno just suggesting :p :p :p

good stuff either way !

I was thinking 2.3 second 60ft time wasn't THAT bad but then I read with semi slicks?

I guess just practice. Already quite impressive

Best of luck

i don't think semi-slicks are the ideal type of tyre to use for drag racing... i always thought my street tyres were better than my semi-slicks when i was engaging in traffic light gp's. The sidewalls were really stiff, i remember one tyre getting a puncture and dropping to 18psi, i couldn't tell by looking at it because the sidewall hadn't collapsed at all. these were the RS-V04's.

i never got to test the semi's at the strip, but i managed consistant 2.1's using goodyear eagle f1's at 20psi. I doubt that the semi's would have matched them.

i think again it depends on how much power , driving style etc factor on this 60ft time.
i used to run dunlop do1j on my d16a8 powered sh!tbox EG . ran 2.1 sec 60ft with 15 psi.

and i believe homer swift gti are running r888 for drag and he pull some nice 60ft.
