Brakes $120
Disks $400
Belts $80
Driveshafts $400
Oil $60
Coolant $30
guesstimate hmmm $1090 parts and labour...
and i overestimated the costs lol
certainly a good price for them !!

Brake pads = 200
Discs = 400
Belt = 100
Oil = 30
Radiator = 250
That's $980 in parts. That leaves $520 in labour. Minus the drive shaft reconditioning, then that's about $400 in labour left. Pretty cheap in my opinion for the amount of work done. Little things like labour for installing 4 discs already run to about $80-100.

Was the coolant changed or the whole radiator?
This must of been at a honda dealership

Either way the coolant has to be replaced if the radiator was taken out. It's cheap if it was done at the dealer.

i dont know where you shop.. but parts do not cost that much...
$200 for break pads ? a workshop would not pay that much.. more like no brand name $50 break pads

Was going based on Honda prices. Personally, I'd go for aftermarket. Even Ferodo Excels are only $110 for front and rear and are a step above OEM. Holden quoted me $330 for front and rear pads! :mad:
got my brake pads replaced @ honda rockdale, costed $220...should of just bought no brand ones at auto one for $70 and fitted them myself

No brand is shit... Even the cheapass dudes at Supercheap told me that the Ferodo stuff that they have on the shelves are worse than OEM. If the low end of Ferodo is that bad, imagine no branded pads! When it comes to safety, go for the most adequate or better pads.

Im never touching Fereodo again, not even with an 11 foot pole.
I felt the old NSI pads (i think its that) were better. and that what the dealer gave the person before me who owned the car

It depends on which Ferodos you use. I haven't tried the shelve stuff but instead tried 1 level higher than OEM, which were the Ferodo Excels. They are not that aggressive and don't really stop as well as OEM pads on the Holden. But I think the OEM pads that came with that car were too aggressive as the discs had to be replaced as well when pad change time came around.
Ferodo DS2500 is considered one of the best pads over at the DBA brake clinic forum. They only make it for the aftermarket caliper shapes though (AP racing, brembo).

$1500 doesn't sound bad as long as quality parts were install.
You replace them with new Honda parts,
or reco and other branded parts?

Wrong, people with stock Subaru Liberty 3.0R-B are running them right now. They aren't equipped with Brembo et al. and yes from all reports they are one of the best pads you can get..

I meant for Hondas. I can't find DS2500 in the right FMSI for Accord/Civic OEM calipers...
