Loose bumper

There is a gap in above the rear bumper of my 94 Accord, i'm guessing it is a bit loose, but i'm not really sure.

Is it just a matter of tightening the screws? Also, i'm pretty certain the car hasnt been in a crash, so it hasn't been bent into its place.

I think that is a pretty common problem. My bumper has a gap on the one side as well. I've seen countless 5th gen accords with the same problem.

In addition to bolts/screws I think the bumper is positioned in place by some metal tabs. Usually the area with the gap has slipped off the metal tab. I was told by honda that you would have to loosen the bumper, place it back on the tab, then tighten.

my rear bar has the same problem, cant be bothered fixing it, rather just drive the thing.
