What type of Silicone do you use

My roof rattles so i heard you can put some silcone on the rubbers, just need to know what you guys use so i dont do any damages. and also how long do i leave it to rest before i can put my roof back on

i used a black marine type sealant... it's one you can get at Autobarn as well. i used it to go over my targa seals as well as rubber door seals.

its not really silicone... it actually sticks to the rubber and doesn't peel off like silicone. need to be left overnight

In a previous car I use roof & gutter silicone to fix rattles as that's all I had lying around.

Regular plumbers silicon causes rust, avoid it at all costs!

Sikaflex is awesome stuff and good for engine mounts too :D

Your guys are awsome thanks a million :), iam headed now to repco to grab some and man iam going go thru the whole car and just leave it overnight, but once again thanks so much for ur help guys
