EG Civic - 215/40/17 rub?

Just wondering if a set of 215/40/17 +40 offset will rub or not on an eg civic hatch?
Its currently lowered on whiteline suspension...

Doubtful it would rub but it might rub on the inner guards at full lock. Nothing a soft blow mallet won't fix though.

Anything 17" on an EG Civic will pretty much rub...

Its the same thing with my EG, atm the 17" are rubbing even without full lock, thats why I'm changing to 15", don't want to modify guards or get over fenders

i got 205/55/15 and they rub.

Yep, I'm running 205/40/R17s and they rub like there is no tomorrow, its cause some underbody damage can't remember what my garage told me but ya... Offset? Can't remember haha
