Where do you guys go through the firewall? (EK1 sedan)

I've put power cables through the grommet that sits below the battery (above the ECU wiring hole) but it's a pain to get through the soundproofing. Do I have a better alternative? I need to run some sensor wires.

i went thru that hole as well with all my cables, it seems fine

i think the easiest way to get thru there is to duct tape the wire onto a clothes hanger and feed it thru by firstly pushing the metal in then down until u see it from the footwell of the passenger seat

make sure you put the rubber back in though... sharp edges and electrical cables = fire waiting to happen ;)

oh yeah..got no more cables runnign no more..haha

couldnt get to it, basically just poked a hole in the rubber and shoved the wires thru :D

same, just cut i big cross on the plug with a stanley knife and fed all the wires thru

its quite a big plug so it should be easy to get more den a few wires thru
