Hi Guys,

I just got a sports exhaust and extractors installed in my 97 1.6 SOHC civic.
Now when i put my foot down it feels like there is less power.
It feels as if there is a delay ro some thing.

Can any body help me with this?

usually, if u a AT, and change the sports exhaust size too big, i will be like that, but u can feel the high speed ( over 80) is beeter than be4

did you reset your ecu?

would you need to reset your ecu if it was just a catback system?

ive had a 2 inch piping on my cxi before, with 4-1 extractors and x force high flow cat, ive recently upgraded to a 2 1/4 inch mandrel bent piping still same extractors and an even bigger cat, i must say i didn't lose that much down low but the gains up high are significantly better than 2 inch, my car is a manual, i still have to get it dyno'd to confirm any power increase,

oh and resetting your ecu will help the car to "recognise" any exhaust changes quicker than driving it around for 100 or so k's
