I'm just a bit curious as to who has the fastest NA Integra in Oz. Anyone who has ever taken their Integra down the 1320 please post. R's or not, it will be good to see the mods & times people get. Cheers!!

I'll start it off then.
DC5R: Intake & exhaust mods + Hondata ECU = 13.9@101mph.
This run was done with 17" semi slick tyres.

I cant recall exactly and dont flame me, but i recall theres a member on this board that did 12.X seconds full N/A in his dc2r.
As the fastest N/A is also 12.X secs too. Sorry i can be specific im sure someone here has specific figures.

Nah....this was prior to it being made. It was white dc2r.
But as you brought it up i do recall orange k20 ripping 12s too.

A.R.T. had a dc2r running a 13.5 0-400 and some real impressive PI lap times, around mid to high 1.50's i think. Mods included Custom intake, exhaust, headers, final gear, flywheel, cams, cam gears. Usual stuff

I never met the owner but saw that car at kwinana with street tyres it was doing 13.7 and than some time after one of my mates saw it with semi-sliks pulling 12.7. When it was for sale I was gonna buy it but it sold very in no time. Haven't seen that car for a long time now.

Every car has its purpose and if you want to go down a 1/4 in the quickest possible time cubes is the way to go. A 1.8 or 2 litre NA has no chance in hell against a engine 3 times its size, vtec or not. Its the corners that remind us of why we drive a teg and not commonwhore.

ahhh, since my old car used to be able to take rexies, commodores (boosted or V8 ones), various porsches, Silvia's, Skylines etc etc...
from lights, i can confirm that a 2l NA engine is more than enough to have "a chance" against an engine 3 times in size...
have you heard of the term "power to weight ratio"?

Theres a big difference between a LS1 and a 304. But anyway with similar mods to each and equal drivers an LS1 will win everytime. Hell I've seen LS1 with intake, exhaust, diff gears and a dyno tune run high 12s. Thats pretty close to the best of the cars listed in this thread. But thats not the point I was trying make, I was trying to say that the integra isn't a good platform for a drag car, its front wheel drive and its a small capacity non-boosted engine its always has been and always will be behind the 8 ball in 1/4 mile times. That said I'd never go back to a car that handled like my old my commodore.

Ahh someone is going to be in for a surprise when a certain vtec front wheel drive car project is finished in sydney. NA k series and will be looking to run 10's or 11's

yes, but i was trying to say that front wheel drive, small capacity non-boosted engine can "still have a chance"...

Sorry Q Ball for going off topic again...
Anyone with a computer and internet can add their 2c to the wikipedia website....not the most reliable source(for future reference)

why did the timeslip section get deleted? IMO a lot easier to post your time there instead of arguing with idiots all day whether which car is good or not, let the times do the talking!!
