hi there, i was reading the bang for ur bucks thread as a guide to what i wanna do to my car. anyways was looking at the medium budget hoping to gain 150kw atws and it indicates that a jdm intake manifold is required. now can someone please tell me what is the diffrence in jdmdc5r/ausdc5r intake manifold? where could i source one out?i checked around and couldnt find any.also is it possible to modify the stock audc5r one to jdm equivelent?

Our JDMyard prototype intake manifold on k20a dc2 - BADHBT.
gain 18kw@wheel on JDM k20a stock internal with stock injectors which max out at 7500rpm.
Too bad this wont fit dc5r.
158kw@wheel now from these mods : JDMyard intake manifold , SSR/DTR header , Kpro.

the difference is the diameter size... the JDM intake manifold has slightly larger internal diameter, thus allowing more air through for combustion... injen cai, with spoon throttle body and JDM intake manifold all together work a treat! with those mods as well as labour, ur lookin at approx 2k +/- $200

Seems like a good upgrade. Might give it a go sometime in the near future... EG5, are you guys going to try and mod it to fit the DC5R?
