i'm after a black bonnet, there is this guy who has a black DC5S bonnet and said it would fit no problems. i'm just abit unsure if it will fit.

What do u mean by adjust the gaps on either side??
If there was adjusting of panels etc, then it doesnt "fit" properly does it!

If there was adjusting of panels etc, then it doesnt "fit" properly does it!

dere no adjusting panels. what i ment was that when a new bonnet is fitted, the bolts need to be tightened properly on each side so that u dun have a larger gap in between the fenders and the bonnet. i.e one side can have a larger gap than the other. just depeneds if the bonnet was after market really. OEM should be fine.

But i very sure for any dc5, either its an S or R, they will FIT.

I'm seriously doubting that it would fit as the headlights of the dc5s are a slightly different shape to the dc5r, hence the lines of the dc5s bonnet WONT fit onto dc5r or vice versa.

they should be the same. if u look carefully only the bottom of the headlight shape is different, the top is the same and hence not affected by the shape of the lights

plus, if that guy's dc5r mugen hood fits on his friends dc5s car then obviously it fits! the gaps he was talkin about on the sides have nothin to do with the headlights
