Will 14's fit EK VTi-R?

Hi folks,

Can someone confirm whether a set of 14inch rims will fit on an EK VTi-R. I'm just worried about brake caliper clearance more than anything else.

Any help much appreciated.

14's will fit. same size calipers as on EK1 (on 262mm rotor).
also same size as EG6 which came with 14" stock.
if you really concerned just try first.
look at it this way: ITR's fit under 15" wheels and the calipers on those are an inch bigger than VtiR's. if my calculations are correct...........

They come stock with 15s(Ek4), but ek1 after 1998 comes stock with 14s and their brakes and calipers are the same as ek4 so 14s should clear.

should be able to run 215/65/14 i think. Not sure what the 14" equivelant of 195/55/15 is you could ask a wheel place and they can figure it out for you

the ek4 comes with 15" stock..
any set of rims will fit aslong as you have the right stud pattern/offset/rim width..
if you're set on getting 14"s.. be sure to get the correct tyre profile or your speedo will be reading under or over depending on which profile you choose..
although it would be better if your rolling diameter is less than stock, as your speedo will be reading 60 and u'll be doing less than that.. i.e. driving below speed limit :)

Yeah should fit. EJ8's have the same size brakes as EK4 and they come stock with 14's.

My friend competes in supersprints with an EK1 GLi with aftermarket 14 inch rims. When he left the country, I bought his 14 inch rims and front and rear brake pads.

I have an EK4 Civic Vtir, and I also compete in supersprints. The 14 inch rims and front and rear brake pads from the EK1 GLi fits my car, no worries.
