depends really, why dont you save up for Coilovers, that are height adjustable and that way, it allows you to adjust the height of your car to you satisfaction, plus it gives better handling, then just having some aftermarket springs.

With that being said, im only using cheap king springs super lows atm... and my wheels are 14" i can get around places pretty easily, but its just some speedbumps may cause abit of a drama.

depends really on which brand you go for, cheapest ive seen, that is pretty reasonable is the Tein SS coilovers... check the traders section mate, alot of traders sell these coilovers, but the upper quality ones are about 2K+

EM1 - VTIR Civic Coupe - B16
EJ8 - VTi Coupe - D16

and why would you put aviation fuel into your car?? unless your taking to the drag strips and want some results.

ive got king springs super lows and my gaurd sits on the top of the tyre at the front and about 2cm above on the rear but my 17s and the original 15's scrape in several spots in the wheel arche.
The advice John gave is very good advice ive wasted money on lowering once and now im getting coilovers
Tein ss are good shocks for the road but if your planning to track your car they might be a little weak
