Viper 500esp Car Alarm

Anyone got the installation guide for the Viper 500esp Alarm? I can't seem to find it on their site or anywhere else on Google. Thanks

If you need instructions it might not be worthin doing yourself.

as from memory viper is a decent alarm. therefore should have a decent installer to go with it.

would you rather spend 300$ to fit (guessing) or your 1000+ car go missing?

you will have to bear with me as this is from memory:
red/12v constant
black/earth
violet/+door trigger
green/- door trigger
black-white/interior light control
orange/-starter trigger(ignition kill relay)
white/parking light output+/- selectable
brown/+siren output

3pin plug cdl:
blue/-unlock+lock
green/-lock+unlock

that should get you started... any other questions let me know :thumbsup:

There are 12 wires all together as follows:

red/white
red
brown
yellow
black
violet
blue
green
black/white
white
orange
white/blue

Can you explain each wire? because I think you're missing some in the other post. Thanks in advance.

Red/white/2nd channel - trigger
Red/ 12v constant power
Brown/12v+ side of the siren
Yellow/ 12v ignition(must not loose power when cranking)
Black/ earth-chassis of the car
Violet/+switching door trigger
Green /-negative switching door trigger
Black-white/- trigger to turn on your interior light when you turn the alarm off(must use a relay!)
white/parking lights 12+(can connect to the indicators but you will need 2 diodes)
Orange/- trigger to the ignition kill relay
White&blue/ cant remember off the top of my head,on the 550esp its for the remote start trigger but i cant remember for the 500

If you are unsure about how to wire it maybe you should leave it for someone with a little more experience, if you get it wrong it could be quite costly

Canook, I'm getting a friend to do it; he's installed car alarms before. I just thought i'd help him do a little research first since it was my fault that I lost the installation guide =( Thanks for your help Canook. By the way, what about the blue wire?

is it a 500 or 550?

Btw all the colours are usually written on the back of the alarm module and what they connect to, unless Viper have stopped doing that
