ok, i'm all confused....after searching through the old threads and reading everything posted, i'm even more undecided on what i should use for my eg sedan...
at the moment, i'm thinking of taking the cheaper option and fitting vtir braking gear to my car...how much would this cost for the setup? and should i get the vtir dc teg or ek (or eg6) civic brakes? or are they the same? i don't do track work but when i do go for a drive through the twisties, i do push the car pretty hard....
help me out?

They are bigger.
Other option to consider are the 4th gen vti-r disks......but i'm not sure as to whether you could bolt them up.
But are you planning any other big performance mods in the future? Have you also changed you brake fluid and tried some performance pads?
THe next step is to go all the way to 5 stud ITR disks and calipers.

well ok the vti or the Si brakes r both samller than the
dc2 VTIR ek VTIR or the EG SIR brakes...
i'd say if u want better braking for your money..
just change the front brakes to the VTIR sepc
which should only cost u around 400-500 bucks max for the parts
(eknine's got brakes for sale chec kthe forsale thread)
for a 5stud conversion ur probly looking at 1g or more..
so for ur bang for bucks get bigger front disc as the rear are all the same..

Danny make sure you get a DIY writeup and some pics for the Tech section when Ben does the conversion for you...- i mean when you change rear discs on your EG yourself. ;)
