i own a 96 teg gsi and was wanting to know if anyone has done a auto to manual gearbox conversion on these beasts. what parts were needed to be bought and changed.
any thoughts would be great.

you will need -
*manual b series gearbox
* B series shift linkage
* clutch master cylinder/lines/ pedal
*also new brake pedal setup...

so all the mounts are the same also? and flywheel etc? crank olt pattern?

lol, i did decide to sell up, got rid of the auto teg, got myself a manual civic. thanks anyway

the upper chassis bracket on the gear box side is different to a manual 1 auto sits a lil higher then manual, you would need to drill the bracket off and weld a manual 1 on

Honestly it may be better sourcing a chassis thats already MT. Good luck regardless. :)
