Hello

My signal lever is not returning after turning.

Any pointers on how to tackle this problem? Im feeling that I have to replace the whole lever unit?

have you recetly installed another steering wheel.

what kind of civic do you have.

the part that trips the return in the colum could be out of place or broken.

may need replacing or a lube and refit.

that happened to me in my old corona. when i flicked the indicator left or right, it wouldnt return to the original position - it didnt even tick tock. the indicator just stayed on [like a headlight]

which was really interesting when i had a chick in the car. id flick the indicator up and down whenever i had to turn. a great conversation starter. i hope that my post was helpful :)

The spring behind the lever could be broken or it has fallen out of place. The only way you can see what is going on, is pull the streering colum apart

since your car has an airbag take it to a spcialist, Unless you have the correct tools to remove the SRS wheel or are willing to give it a go.
