2006 Accord Euro Luxury Rims - Impressions.

Hi all,

I got my Euro Lux in February/March and was looking for a new set of rims and had decided on some WORK rims; but they weren't going to be available till late June.

Well I sat on the stock rims and after a few months I've actually started to like them alot.

When I saw the most recent Porsche GT3's rims and how similar they looked to the Lux rims in general I am even more happy at their general look.

Similar - not the same mind you - just gives you a hint.


What is everyone else's opinion of the new rim design?

I love them. If my accord was 5 stud, i would put them on.

After a while the 9 spoke luxury rim does grow on you. I had them but changed them eventually. However it still catches my eye when I see it on the road.

I dont mind the Standard wheels, look good with the car a bit lower then standard

Some designs can be easily and quickly liked by vast majorities. eg 2005 Lux rims. While some designs require some time to be accepted and then loved by people. Eg 2006 rims, BMW 7 series.

im with you! i hated them initially, but now, i actually dont mind them at all... im thinking of postponing the purchase of rims and just keep the stockos for a while... :)

Same here the 05 rims are also easier to clean the 06 rims would be a pain in the *** to clean really well if caked it brake dust.

i used to hate them... but now owning a 06euro lux, and looking at them all the time.... i just love them... looks great :P

I also found out non-euro accord vti rims are attractive too ;)

But it is nicer when it is closer. I'll choose that one than any euro 16" rims.

I like the new rims.
I think Euro needs biger wheels as the arches are pretty big.

I didn't like the look of the wheels in the first photos I saw -- and I was a fan of the 05 lux wheels. Now, I'm quite happy with my 06 wheels.

They are actually really easy to keep clean -- they're a surprisingly smooth design without any really sharp angles for dust to lodge in. I actually think they're probably easier to clean than the 05 design.

I got my std 06 Euro rims swapped for the Euro Sports version as soon it rolled off the factory floor!!! :D

I don't know but with the Sports rims the Euro just looks more 'sporty' and aggresive!

I'm not a big fan of them.I swapped mine out about 4 mths. after i bought my car.I stuck with 17s still.

Try ebay, sometime a set pops up. couple of the member here got it there too
