b16a/b16a2 cambelt help

as far as i know b16a and b16a2 cambelts are the same but can somebody confirm this?

i've just booked in a LS with b16a for cambelt replacement and nobody around here knows anything about the differences between b16a and b16a2 as the 1st gen b16a's only came in imports (-_-)

Sure they are the same... I've got my belts from HONDA from an EK4. Its the same as the ones on my EG6.

i dont think it it's the same..
i bought EK4 belt from honda
but it wouldnt fit apparently it was 2 teeths more than my B16a belt (EG6)
that happened to my old EG6 motor as well

from what i have read they are the same, you just use what belt (b16/b18) you use water pump (b16/b18), and that is where the extra teeth are.
so ive read.......:confused:
