i got a small two part problem..

at the front wheels, there is a rubber (where the arm-bush behind the wheel area or so) which holds some oil so you can turn wih out making noise.. apparently it ripped due to wear and tear and oil is everywhere..
now my car cracks and rattels everytime i do a turn and gas at the same time.

1)what is that part called..?
2)how much does it cost to fix it..?

You're either talking abuot your power steering boot or driveshaft boots, i think they'll understand that. wont' cost that much to fix.

ill only ever take my car to hanny's... thats if im in real deep...

do it yourself.. it isnt that hard.. and once u have the shaft out bring it to autospares and get it reconidtioned

does it matter if i still drive it around couse i kinda need it for work (15mins drive)..?
also if i tried to fix it my self, how would i go on about to mold the rubber to the original fixtures..?

If you don't know what its called i'd say take it to the mechanic.

The boots are just a pain to get in and out of their locking joint and getting the knuckles off are a real B****. Not worth the trouble getting dirty for this one.
