hey just woundering wat the max kw and torque on a base dc5 integra is without any mods.
Cause ive done a cold air intake and iam about to dyno it to see wat my car is at, but i didnt dyno it before i done it. I know that there r different dyno machines, and different conditions which may effect a reading, but i just wanna see if theres been a significant difference. But maybe if u guys can remember on wat dyno machine it was on it would be handy.
Thanx in advance

stock dc5 is roughly 118kw at the engine which equates to roughly 85-90kw atw.
wat kind of CAI did you use??
if its a simple pod filter its not gonna do anything, it'll jst make the car sound louder.
out of the whole breathing system of the car, the most restrictive is the headers, so obviously out of improving the I/H/E of the car, headers will give you the most significant gain.

Boggey- A base DC5 I would expect to get around 85kw at the front wheels. Due to your cold air intake, if you have done it worse then stock then you may end up with less then 85kw. Otherwise i wouldnt expesct anymore then about 87kw.

oh yeah i got a injen cold air intake, but iam hoping for about 90kw, going from wat the clubrsx forums r saying.
And yeah headers r next on the list but iam gonna get type r headers so ill also hv to get a new cat and cat back exhaust for the type r as well for it to work

for a base dc5.
the milds mods of i/h/e wont get u much gains unless you tune with a aftermarket computer.
your roughly at 85kw from standard.

I dynoed my stock base car last year. It got 86.8KW.
Hope that helps. :)
