open the bonnet and have a look @ the engine bay they should be some plates stamped with the manufature year and month.
when u fact the engine bay it should be on the right side.

does it have a squareish gauge cluster or a rounded one?
does it have long and skinny front indicators or a bit fatter/shorter ones?
my main two ways if identifying models 87-89 and 90-91.

also the front indicators
88-89 model has the 2 screws holding it in place, whereas the 90-91 is a clip

thanks, it does not say under the bonnet on the plate, i just checked.
The indicators do how ever have two screws holding them in place.
Does it being Australian Delivered make any difference??

ok, thanks.
Also would you know at all, my rear bumper hangs out on either side by 1 to 2 mm, would this be because someone has put a 90-91 bumper on there?

is the dash round on the top or square... around the gauges.
