I got a 96 accord and the standard sunroof doesnt tilt, i was wondering if someone has maybe made it tilt? Or if anyone knows if it can be done by not actually changing the whole sunroof?

Where are you located? Might be best to go and talk to a sunroof professional. I dont have a sunroof, but I would think that at least part of the mechanism would need to be changed.

mine does the tilt thing, or the slide open thing.

has button for tilt, one for open and one for close.

you might just have to get a 98 honda accord v6-L ;)

Yeh, but what im trying to say, is that the sunroof unit as a whole, may different to yours.
And if thats the case, its cheaper to jst change the whole unit, to one that allows for both slide and tilt rather then modding the existing one.

Gottya Q_Ball, and 100% agree with ya mate :)

and it don't rain in melb all the time, i remeber there was one day a few years ago, where i even saw the sun for 32seconds. that was a magical day. and i'm sure there will be times when your not driving in melb and it will be nice to have.

i love the wank factor of the sunroof

yeah i understand what q_ball is saying, i think its just going to end up being a bit to much money...

and dray templar, u got to see it for a whole 32 seconds? we only get about 5-10 seconds these days... your one of the lucky ones.
