28-pin low profile zif socket
74hc373
surface mount hc373 ic
4-pin datalogging header
resistors and caps i tink jay car has them
any one direct me to a shop here in australia thanks

you forgot:
27C256 or 27C512 or 29C256

Jaycar has them, but they're not the cheapest, even though they usually stock the cheaper components.

Try Farnell's

The surface mount HC737's are extremely difficult to find.

Call Farnell's and have a chat to them.

Jaycar has everything else you need.

you dont need to use a ZIF

get a 28pin socket

JDM ECU'z only need the surface mount 74HC373

Surface mount HC373 get them from www.digikey.com, i forgot the part number because they come in different packages. You can get everything you need here.

you dont need to use a ZIF
depends on what's being done...

if he's using something like uber with a chip burner, a zif socket makes things much easier...

if a romulator of sorts is being used, you could get away without it

i recieved my p28 ecu with uberdata and chip burner today.
the burner is from moates.net $85USD + postage
