Yes. It is much improved on a stock ek1 as they came with no sway to begin with. I have been informed though that there is not that great a difference on an ek4 which came stock with a decent sized bar.

I went from a stock 14mm to a whiteline 18mm, and I did feel the difference through the corners. The car is more like a go-kart and there is less roll in the rear.
WHen on the straight, the steering wheel felt lighter and more sensitive when around the centre.

our car does and i think with some good shocks which u already have, it should be good with stock sways :) but the guys in the states are nuts. They put sway bars on any living thing they can :)

Stock on EK4 is 16mm I think. I've personally felt quite a big difference when upgrading to the 22mm sway. With the stock, even travelling <50km/h through a roundabout, you can noticeably feel the understeer characteristic of the FF car, however with the 22mm bar, understeer is noticeably reduced.

bump, amato2, dude, just a question, have u had any adverse affects since installation? i.e. i understand the bushes would wear out faster right?
i can now understand what u mean. the rear sway is 17mm and there is still good amounts of roll when cornering slightly hard.

Whiteline rear swaybars should come with replacement PU bushes. So you can keep your stock rubber ones safe and sound.
