B16A block is shorter than B18C.
You will have problems clearing the B18C block.

pretty sure..
it wont fit.
it'll bolt up
but the length isnt long enuff due to the taller block of the B18c

civic mods, most companys that make headers make them for both b16a and b18c as the one unit, so as is often the case, the header is made longer already to clear the b18c and b16a sumps. Best bet would to actually take a look and see if it is physically the same length as the b18c unit.
well for reference my 5zigen b16a ef8 specific header has a 1cm if not less clearance from the sump with the b16a engine. So you would have almost no room to play with

I've got a set of JDM bling - Jasma approved stuff...
stamp badging says for b16a....
..
tried it on mates b18c2.. worked fine ...
All depends on the make..
...................................
Alot of the 4-2-1 stuff is generic as they arent really worried about it hanging abit lower on the b16a... the 4-1 is more specific more of the times as they hang too low already...

Trail and error. I imagine the flange to the cat will need to be changed as they are all different from jap spec to ozzy spec to us spec
Good luck

Trial and error. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yeah I just bought a TANABE 4-2-1 off Kris (ozhonda member) and this header is specific to B16A (serial number: 93E023 - B16A) however the previous owner (Kris) apparently had it on his B18C but it was physically touching his sump - thought there are no visible scratches on the header where this would have happened. the clearance on my B16A is very tight - maybe 1cm - so it might fit on your B18C but wont be the best.
Blitz - do you have pic of your header ? mine was labeled only as 'JASMA' and the serial number and I emailed JASMA and they traced the serial number back to TANABE.
when i searched for both Tanabe 4-2-1 and/or the serial number on google I came up with only ONE reference.. so I am trying to find out more info on these headers etc.
cause yeah 'JASMA' is not a brand.. it's an accreditation from an organisation.

Thanks guy for the answer
but i asume that if it is too close to the sump,or may be 1 cm for clearance.
it just like boing water in the kitchen for your engine oil temp???

b16 specific headers won't fit b18's
headers made for 'b series' generally will fit both
jasma's more of a specification than brand fyi
as for your problem, best bet is to get it to an exhaust shop and see whether they have a replacement

Just so you guys know - as vinnY said JASMA isn't a brand, it's a classification - something like the stamped approval for the emissions-equivalent in Japan.
My Mugen twinloop is JASMA approved (and has the stamp).
You can get new OEM header gaskets from JDMyard (an Ozhonda trader), or you can take it to any exhaust shop and they would be able to help you with the problem.
