Hey,
i know the parking brakre light comes on the dash when there something wrong with the brake system... but what?
I though i might have low fluid but its a few mm above the minimum line. Might it be shorting??
It only used to come on around sharp bends, then about 2-3 days later, its mostly on
thanks

top up the fluid anyways.. the sensor in the reservoir is just probably at its lowest position therefore turning on the light..
otherwise ur hand brake switch could b faulty ..
also on some old cars if u had a brake light out it woudl also come up...

well its more like 1cm above the line
It was pretty low when my pads ran out, then when i put new ones in it went to the top line. Over a yr on, its dropping

do an ecu light check to see what code comes up. it's pretty simple, your ecu is in your passenger side footwell, u just gotta lift up your carpet and check the light when u start the car. there is a diy on how to check it and what the different flashes mean, i cbf searching for it right now

I know, but thats the reason i wasnt topping it up, coz when i change the pads, its near max anyway.
