Yes lol. PRetty much every car on here with a aftermarket swaybar is getting some noise from either the bar hitting the exhaust piping or lower control arm etc.

Try to find out exactly where it is "touching" and then see if you can either retighten/adjust or make up something like rubber pipe etc to help cushion the rubbing

cut some pvc piping in half lengthwise and cable tie to your LCA & top of sway under where it hits the exhaust piping, that should dampen the sound a little bit. Also tighten the nuts on the back of the U-bolts evenly to get rid of that creaking noise. HTH

hehe i did a quick DIY write up on how you can stop the rattling. Depending on where its hitting, you can just get a rubber pipe and wrap it around the swaybar, but yes, as ben noted above, almost every car here has some sort of problem with swaybars hitting other metal bits on their car causing rattling.

Check that the sway bar is installed the right way up, coz trust me it fits both ways.

Are you sure its not your exhaust hitting the LCA's? Mine hit the LCA's after I had jdm LCA's installed with the suspension set up - I just took it to the exhaust shop and got my exhaust pipe curved up so it wouldn't hit the LCA's anymore.....

doesn't touch with normal driving :)

is hitting the exhaust or lca the only ways people have experienced rattling ?
any other possibilities ?

Tends to hit one of those two things (lca or exhaust). Other rattles/sounds come from the bolts coming loose over time and needing retightening.

thats why u should buy top quality jdm products .. that way it will bolt straight on and usually not hit anything :D

is it installed back to front?

having a aftermarket over-axle pipe to the muffler tends to put things out of whack IMO. If you have stock , or some "JDM" hardcore jasma approved mess back there im sure its less likely to "hit".

I still think it's this. Just like in the link to the DIY.

i just cut sum old scrappy jumper up i dnt wear anymore and cable tied it, where it was touching part of the exhaust....is ther any risk of the jumper material catching alight or anyfn?

yeah I'd be concerned about it catching alight, try that heat wrap stuff used in exhuast manifolds.
