Hi All!

I have just registered as I have recently become the proud owner of a 1998 Honda Integra VTI-R. I used to have a Honda 954RR Fireblade (Motorbike) but had to sell it so I could afford to get a better car for work. I absolutely love the Integra. So smooth and very reliable too! Mine had 93,000km on the clock when I bought it.

I have modified the suspension on the Integra with the following:

- King 'standard low' Springs Front + Rear
- KYB Shocks (non adjustable) Front + Rear
- Whiteline Camber Kits Front + Rear
- Whiteline Blade adjustable 23mm Rear Swaybar
- Rear Strut Brace

After a few initial teething problems (like the fact that the Ebay seller I bought the springs from sent me superlows for the front and I didn't check before installing them  ) it is now absolutely awesome through the twisties! I have owned a few Cars and Bikes in the past, but the handling of this thing is just crazy! I recently had new tyres fitted (195/50 instead of 195/55 profile as they were scraping on the inner front guard around tight corners) and the suspension has been tuned by THR Developments in Adelaide.

Here are a few pics I took of the car when it had superlows installed:

And here's one of my Bike that I took shortly prior to selling it:

This seems like a cool place and it's good to have a lot of Honda info at your fingertips. I'll be popping in every now and then to ramble on and hopefully share some knowledge (if I have anything pertinent to say!)

Thanks for the welcome all!

Yeah Photography is one of my hobbies (and I forgot to put that into the Hobbies field in my profile!! ) so yeah once in a while I'll post a pic of something-or-other if I feel it necessary!

The Bike pic took me a few hours of post-processing to do cause I had to select the Bike in Photoshop then make the background black and white. It's going to be printed in large format and go on my wall though. I loved that thing and was very sad to see it go. :( I still say Motorcycling is the most fun you can have whilst sitting down! :p

dc2dc2dc2 - do you have a link for that section? I'll have to do it when I get home so I can post a higher-res version (that one's only 800 x 6-something).

Cheers all!

SINISTR - riding a Bike is just like, well, riding a Bike! :D It's not overly hard, but to ride it fast does require a huge amount of concentration, great reflexes and endurance as well as a decent amount of strength. The thing with Bikes is to move up in levels. You don't start on one like I posted. You start on a 250 or similar with fairly low power output to learn how the Bike responds, then you move up. I've had a Yamaha XT200 4 stroke trail Bike, then RGV250 2 Stroke Suzuki, then Suzuki GSX-R750 (88 model), then a Honda CBR600RR (2003 model) then the 954cc Fireblade that I posted the pic of. As you can see, quite a few Bikes, but well worth it as I learned in a progressive order!

Yeah Yellow Beast it's a shame it had to go, but I still kept my full leathers/helmet/boots/gloves etc and I will definitely get another Bike in the future, even if it's purely a racebike!

Cheers Stoosh - I'll probably register on your Website too seeing as it is purely for Integras! :)
