View Full Version : Will 16" rims fit on EK00 civic on super low kingsprings?

Hey guys!

Just wondering if my friends 16'' rims with fairly fat tyres (off a silvia) would fit on my 00 EK civic, which has super low king springs at the moment. I havernt done measurements yet, and Ill most likely just try putting them on and see how it goes, but i thought id ask anyway.

Sorry for the lack of detail. But any input would be much appreciated. eg, how wide could i go on front and rear (bearing in mind its on low springs) ? :)

[i tried doing searches, but im a noob with tyres sizes and everything haha]

the 16"s will fit depnding on the PCD.. as long as its 4x100 pattern it should fit, whats the width of the 16s? and from what i know arnt silvias 5 stud? or NA ones are 4x114.3?

also with lowering ive got kings superlows on atm on stock rims on my em1, its practical and low enough for my liking it depends on ur taste, best ask some real pros and tell them the kind of height u are after so you can take them for their word..

find out the info on the rims..

stuff like:

size, pcd and offset.. then come back and we'll let you know whether it'll fit or not ;)

I think silvias are 4 x 114.3, so they wont fit

i found out the tyre sizes:
fronts 202/55R16
backs 225/502R16

well the others have said that silvia's use a 4x114.3 stud pattern..

and your civic uses a 4x100..
so unless the rims are multistud (can be seen by counting the holes in the middle of the rim - 8 for multistud) then they won't fit at all..

and if they are multistud, try to find out the offset.. i believe this can be done by looking on the inside of the rim.. then let us know here, and we'll tell u whether it'll fit or not.

thats a worry o.o Im not sure what their stud pattern is... they looked like the would fit mine, from looking at the wheel next to my stockies. His cars non-turb auto sr20. Maybe its got different pattern to other silvias :confused:

Non Turbo S13 is still 4 x 114.......... they'll not fit your civic.

You cant just look at them to tell. Please search through the noob section and you will see what other members are discussing.

As others have stated, if the wheels have a stud pattern of 4 (number of holes) x 114.3 (the distance in mm from the centre of one hole diagonally across the rim to the centre of the opposing hole) they will not fit your civic.
