Aim: To install a front strut bar & kill time, (dont expect much, 30mins max)

Equipment: 4 - 8x16mm bolts & nuts OEM size
2 – spanners (12 & 13mm) depends on the bolts & nuts that your using

Method: remove the 2black rubber cap thingie on the sides where the bolts& nuts will go

Before:

After:

after removing the rubber you should b able to see though it like so

http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/1061/cimg01344th5tq3.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

place the bar on to it just too see if it will fit & to see how sexy it will look after its done.
Jack up the car if you want, so its easier to rich from under later.

http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/3951/cimg01344th6cy8.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

put the nuts & bolts in place on both side, screw it in a bit but don’t tighten it yet, just so you can have a little adjustment space to move around

http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/9138/cimg01344th7tr3.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

after all 4 bolts & nuts are in place, reach under the car and hold the bolt with one spanner and tighten the nut on top with another spanner

http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/871/cimg01344th8dg0.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

repeat the same thing on the other sides, and when you finsh it should look some thing like this

nice diy man, did you notice much of a diffrence after you installed it?, also from what i can tell, its not connected to the struts? rather the chassis itself- is that right or am i just crazy?!

my advice is it use a socket with ratchet.

open end and ring spanners sometimes make alot of errors :S
