Helps the window slot into the right place when you wind it up.

lol ive always wandered what that thing is for.

But in reality, the window mold would have to be in quite a bad condition if the window was to shift outwards over the rubber. So that thing is a bit useless imo...

There should be few of those sponge like thingy in the car to let the presure build-up to escape, else when you slam the door shut, your ear drums will probably blows. I know that there are 2 in the rear part, at the lower bumper area to let the air go out when you close the boot.

Anything protuding out of the car then to increase its aerodynamics and induce wind noise... if you dont have windows visor, try not to install them, as they just create more whistling or wind noise. If its stock, you have the option to just leave it alone or remove it.

i have taken it off when i install my window visor...it seems there is no problem for me to roll up the window in high speed or wind noise.
