what do you all reckon is better in the case of looks and performance. gen 2 crx or gen 3 crx.

CRX yeh? well... gen 2 looks tougher in my opinion, boxier, has that old skool kind of quality to it... while the new one is sleeker, but IMHO ok... no flames... hairdresser style...

gen 3 looks better and would go harder stock...(unless your talking SiR) but i'd go for the gen 2 if i wanted a twisties car... i heard the targa style makes the gen3 little slower around corners. dunno how much truth lies within that though.

i'd probably go for the gen2 for performance and looks, but i am biased 'cause i drive a '88 Civic. :)

Performance options aside, the Gen2 is lighter.
Looks options aside, the Gen3 has a targa roof.

2G > 1G > 3G

1G = awesome power to weight and great styling with the ZC onboard.
2G = excellent power to weight with D16 or B16 (JDM spec), glasstop (JDM spec), excellent styling.
3G = looks like shit, and is overweight, even if it does have a B16 in it. The power to weight is crap. My EF9 with the same specs as the Del Slow is quicker and it's heavy compared to the aussie ED Civics and rexs.

2G is the best all-rounder and the real renaissance CRX.
