hi all
jus wondering why all the names liky ek9, da9, dc2 ect.:confused:
is it the engine?
chassis number?

Its model number/chassis number.

The letters mean series and the numbesr mean variant.

i.e. EK = series of civic
1,4,9 = variant, with 1 being slow pov spec, 4 = vtiR 9 = type R

It's good that he's asking :)

And for engine codes, they look like this: b16a2, b18c7, h22a, k20a2, k24a3, c32, j30.

b/h/k/c/j are the series of engines, 16/18/20/24/30/32 is the engine capacity (1.6L, 1.8L etc.) and the a2/c7 stuff are the versions.
