Knock

Quick question. dc2r power fc 2nd gear full throttle took it all the way to 9000rpm. Knock reading came back at 41. Is that safe? Roughly what is safe and when should i start to get worried?

i have seen knock of over 100 on mine...

(this was uphill in 5th gear at 60km/h at NOT full throttle)

all of the major knock i have seen has been at 15-40 % throttle, WOT is fine and knock is always below 50 under WOT...

i reckon safe is to about 60 maybe?

the engine light flashes at 90 or something...

remember - it does NOT detect knock, it detects sounds that resemble knock... so is just a rough "indicator"...

but - GET IT TUNED!

honda engine normally knock hi but 41 is normal i guess mine knocks at 50 sometimes and it is tuned
